I-SISTEHMA focuses on developing intelligent electrical systems for safer and more sustainable aviation. This project researches and implements advanced Health Monitoring (HM) technologies for the continuous monitoring of critical system parameters, using artificial intelligence to detect and anticipate failures. Our goal is to enhance flight safety and optimize aircraft maintenance.
Project Objectives
- Research Advanced Technologies: Develop and apply the necessary technologies to create intelligent electrical systems that improve management and control in aircraft.
- Continuous Monitoring: Implement solutions for the constant monitoring of critical electrical system parameters, ensuring real-time tracking of performance.
- Degradation Detection: Identify potential system degradations, enabling early intervention and the prevention of failures before they occur.
- Action Anticipation: Use artificial intelligence to anticipate necessary actions for safe operation and efficient maintenance, enhancing reliability and flight safety.
Expansion of Knowledge and Innovation
The I-SISTEHMA project not only aims to advance electrical system technology for aircraft but also to expand our knowledge in intelligent monitoring and artificial intelligence applied to aviation. By integrating these advanced technologies, we are taking a significant step toward safer and more efficient aviation.
Institutional Support and Funding
The project, identified with file number PTAG-20221010, has been funded by CDTI under the 2022 call of the “Aeronautical Technology Program.” It is part of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan, financed by Next Generation EU funds and the 2021–2023 State Program for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation. This support is crucial for the development and implementation of innovative technologies in the aerospace sector.
